Cette image contient un charme nostalgique, ainsi qu'une forme de beauté unique. C'est un instant figé dans le temps et assez littéralement pris par la glace, une démonstration de froid au cœur de Grenoble que nous ne pourrons sans doute plus revoir au cours de nos vies.

De la même manière que ce monument a été érigé pour commémorer les évènements qui ont mené à la Révolution, cette carte postale commémore un temps où la nature célébrait l'hiver en ajoutant ses propres sculptures éphémères au paysage urbain.

There's an inherent nostalgy to this picture, along with an etheral sort of beauty. It's a moment that is quite literally frozen in time, yet this ice covering a fountain in the heart of Grenoble is something we are unlikely to see again in our lifetime.

In the same way that this monument was erected to commemorate the events that would later lead to the revolution, this picture commemorates a time where nature celebrated winter by adding its own ephemeral sculptures to the urban landscape.
